In the spirit of forgetting I actually have a blog, I literally took only one picture of my workouts this week. I should probably work on that!
Anyhow, in spite of taking almost no pictures… here’s a short recap of my week!
Seeing everyone run Toronto Waterfront Marathon this past weekend brought back a lot of memories but also made me want to take it slow. I have never been someone who wants to sign up for a bunch of races that I’m not trained for and just hope for the best. Slow and steady training wins the race…. or something like that!
Anyhow, I ran THREE times this week and during the third run I felt like I was walking too much! I adjusted my runs for this week with a little less walking and a little more running but still super, super slow! I have no giant goals other than to be able to run 5k comfortably without walking by Christmas.
I have been doing at home Beachbody workouts and even though I struggle to get motivated to do them, I always enjoy them once I start. They’re quick and full of modifications if there’s a type of exercise I’m struggling with (ie. burpees!!).
This week I managed to do six workouts at home. I was actually surprised I did that many but am totally proud of myself! GO SELF!
GOALS FOR THIS WEEK
- Run 3-4 times
- Do 5-6 workouts
- Drink my giant bottle of water every day! I feel way better when I drink more water, but some days I struggle to get it finished!
