Happy Family Day very late in the day on this holiday Monday here in Ontario! We had a very late dinner together at Swiss Chalet and while we didn’t get an actual family picture, we took a few pics while we waited for our food!
Life has been moving along at a million miles a minute and I feel like I’ve barely had a moment to breathe. The moments I have had, I have had no brain power to write my blog posts. I have been working out though so didn’t want to miss out on keeping myself accountable here!
It’s not thrilling, but here is my workout week:
Monday, February 12: 50 minutes spin bike + 25 minutes elliptical + strength training
Tuesday, February 13: 30 minute run + 40 minute spin bike | I was happy I got to run and also pretty thrilled with how great I felt!
Wednesday, February 14: 90 minute spin bike | I got to watch 2 episodes of Crossing Lines, so I was totally happy to work hard on the bike today! I am getting a little obsessed with it.
Thursday, February 15: 30 minutes run + 60 minute spin bike | I was up at 4:30 AM to get my workout in and by the time my day finished at 8PM I could barely talk straight, but I am so glad I got this done!
Friday, February 16 + Saturday, February 17: REST DAYS | I planned to workout Friday, but I sleep like the dead Thursday night and was just too exhausted. My body shouted NO at me and I didn’t even feel bad listening to it. It had been a long week with a lot of early mornings so I just chilled!
Sunday, February 18: 8km run | First run outside since Robbie Burns and my calves can tell. I ran far too fast for the first half and definitely slowed down by the end, but I was happy with how I felt. Also…. no shin pain!!
We leave on Friday for Miami and then our cruise leaves on Saturday. My goal is to workout and get all my runs in on the boat, but it is also vacation so we shall see. One thing we did do on purpose was put ourselves on the lowest deck possible near the stairs so that we would use them as much as possible. Fingers crossed I don’t gain ten pounds from all the food I will probably eat!
