This weekend I had some bad moments which of course, always seem to be remembered more than the good moments! I’ve always been one to see the glass half empty and even though I try really hard it’s still my natural reaction.
When I am struggling with something I often have things that pop into my mind at random and this weekend it was this picture of Chloe:
I posted this picture years ago on Facebook and it was one of my memories that showed up in my feed last week. The picture went with this caption:
I don’t really want anyone to see my shirt cuz it embarrasses me cuz it says all good things come with sprinkles and they don’t! Cuz we are good and we don’t have sprinkles!
Chloe is right! We ARE good and just because we can’t see our sprinkles doesn’t mean they aren’t there. So this week when you’re looking at life in dismay, take a minute to check for your sprinkles. They may be hiding but they’re there somewhere letting you know that you’re okay; you’ve got this and that things will get better!
Good things come with sprinkles!
