We are currently in Montreal for a quick trip and went for a run yesterday together! I think it was the first time that we have done that while on “vacation” and we both really enjoyed it. It was so nice to get out and explore while getting a workout at the same time! We are planning to do it again today!
Here’s a quick recap of the rest of my week!
Wednesday, July 13: I had swimming on my list which I think must’ve been a mistake because I don’t really swim. I took it seriously though and spent an hour and a half at the pool with the kids. I feel like that might not be what Michelle had in mind though!
Thursday, July 14: 3km warmup/8 x 2 min @ 5:20 with 2 min recovery between/3km cool down. I ran with Hannah and honestly felt not so great! We ended up doing only 1.5k for the cool down because that was when we hit Starbucks! Anson came and picked us up in the car after! (9.15km total)
Friday, July 15: 5km run outside in the heat! I found a new 5k route that I loved even though it had a couple hills!
Saturday, July 16: DAY OFF
Sunday, July 17: 8km run outside. Anson ran the first 5k with me and then I ran the last 3 alone. My last km was my fastest so I guess that’s good, right?!
Monday, July 18: double header baseball game where I learned that my teammates are the nicest, kindest girls around!
Tuesday, July 19: 7.6km run up Mount Royal and back down again with Anson. It was supposed to be a 6km run day, but ended up being slightly longer!
