Well, today my phone finally kicked the bucket! It got thrown across my room by someone who was not me way back in October and the screen smashed. It still worked and I have just been holding on to it!
It was my first iPhone purchased almost exactly three years ago. It has held SIM cards from Malta, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the US and Canada in it and has been attached to my hand for a long time!
This morning, I carried it into the bathroom at church and promptly dropped it on the floor. The last remaining pieces that were holding the home button in place broke off and I couldn’t unlock it anymore! So, I said good bye to my iPhone 5 and now have a new iPhone 6 with a non smashed screen! It is pretty exciting to see all the words of a text or an Instagram post and to be able to take a picture and know whether or not it’s in focus!
All that to say, I lost some pictures on my phone. I have most of them, but the ones I took this week that I would normally upload on here today are just gone! Instead–please enjoy this picture of my sad looking phone and imagine using this in public:)
